This research determined a relationship level between the mathematics instructor's performance with II and III Economy students? socialization at the National University of Chimborazo in order to improve teaching learning process. Then, a 21 item questionnaire was applied to the learners which allowed identifying three teaching performance dimensions. Thus, a Moos Rudolf?s test was applied to evaluate a School social climate scale in each one of the students. The statistical analysis was done by using descriptive and inferential statistical processes through Excel program. Consequently, it was found that there is a close a relationship between academic attitude and socialization based on the academic activity management done by the instructor with other instructors (p=0,01), including a cognitive knowledge, discipline; unfortunately there is no a link with a direct social interaction. In conclusion, the usage of methodological strategies which focus on a cooperative learning promote a socialization relationship between instructor and learners. It is suggested that instructors should apply three teaching performance dimensions: cognitive knowledge, discipline, academic attitude and methodological strategies in order to foster socialization and a better learning quality by the students.
