LA EDUCACION INTERCULTURAL BILINGUE COMO PROYECTO EPISTEMICO DE LOS MOVIMIENTOS INDIGENAS EN EL ECUADOR

Abstract

The text analyzes the way in which the council of elders and the intercultural bilingual education is constituted en an epistemological project and symbol of struggle among the Ecuadorian indigenous people; but Frst, the contextualization of thesis of the indigenous organizations in two parts. The Frst makes a reference to the class understanding of organizations and the second to the indigenous movements with an ethnic thesis and how the debates and ethnic practices confront each other in the coloniality of power and knowledge

Resumen

El texto analiza la manera cómo la educación intercultural bilingüe se ha constituido en el proyecto epistémico y una bandera de lucha de los pueblos y nacionalidades indígenas del Ecuador; pero antes, contextualiza la tesis de las organizaciones indígenas en dos fases: la primera hace referencia a las organizaciones de corte clasista y la segunda al movimiento indígena con tesis étnica, y cómo estos discursos y prácticas étnicas se enfrentan, resisten, negocian a la colonialidad de poder y saber.
