Los exámenes urológicos, datan su aplicación desde el tiempo del imperio de Egipto, donde se usaba la orinapara identificar enfermedades en los cuerpos, con el paso del tiempo y de la mano de la tecnología, el análisisde orina sigue siendo importante en la detección de patologías, con cambios en su metodología de análisis.Donde se usan equipos biomédicos, como la centrífuga, que usa un motor para someter a las muestras agrandes velocidades, y lograr separar sus componentes. El presente trabajo recopila las instrucciones yrecomendaciones para el uso, mantenimiento y control del equipo de centrifugación, con el fin de prevenirdesgaste, accidentes o daño total del equipo, estos lineamientos evitarán incurrir en gastos innecesario para ellaboratorio y disminuir al mínimo los errores en el tratamiento de la muestra previo su análisis. Al tener encuenta y respetar los estándares de calidad, se aumenta la eficiencia y fiabilidad de los procesos al usarmáquinas centrífugas, mejorando la identificación de problemas en la salud, para la prevención y tratamientode enfermedades.
