The purpose of this systematic literature review (SLR) was to identify studies that allow exploring the impact of eLearning on the teaching-learning process in higher education, which allowed evaluating the quality of the studies in this area complemented by the application of mapping. Searches were carried out in the SCOPUS and Web of Science databases, applying selection processes. The total results were initially 191 research articles, and after applying the selection process, a total bibliographic corpus of 22 articles was identified. After performing a thorough analysis of the selected publications, it is possible to know that the impact of eLearning is very relevant in the educational process, identifying several factors that allowed recognizing its importance in the use, as well as the multiple advantages that the studies point out. The perceptions of the educational actors are very positive, showing that the present and future of eLearning is very promising.
Los propósitos de esta revisión sistemática de la literatura (SLR), fue identificar estudiosque permitan explorar el impacto del eLearning en el proceso enseñanza aprendizajeen la educación superior, el mismo que permitió evaluar la calidad de los estudios enesta aérea complementado mediante la aplicación del mapping. Se realizaronbúsquedas en las bases de datos SCOPUS y Web of Science, aplicando procesos deselección. El total de resultados inicialmente fueron 191 artículos de investigación, y alaplicar el proceso de selección se identificaron un corpus bibliográfico total de 22artículos. Luego de realizar unos análisis minuciosos de las publicaciones seleccionadasse logra conocer que el impacto del eLearning es muy relevante en el proceso educativoidentificándose varios factores que permitieron reconocer su importancia en el uso, asícomo de las múltiples ventajas que los estudios señalan, en cuanto a las percepcionespor parte de los actores educativos son muy positivas, dando a conocer que el presentey futuro del eLearning es muy prometedor.
