The objective of the research was to analyze the quality of life in the different areas of daily operation in taxis that belong to the Provincial Union of Transport Operators of Chimborazo Taxis. A descriptive, cross-sectional and correlational study was carried out. The instrument used was the EuroQol-5D (EQ-5D) health questionnaire as a simple alternative for measuring quality of life with which dimensions of mobility, personal care, daily activities, pain, discomfort, anxiety and depression were obtained. In the results, a positive relationship between gender and the dimension of pain, and gender and anxiety and depression was considered.
La investigación tuvo como objetivo, analizar la calidad de vida en las distintas áreas del funcionamientocotidiano en taxitas que pertenecen a la Unión Provincial de Operadores de Transporte de en Taxis deChimborazo. Se realizó un estudio descriptivo, transversal y correlacional. El instrumento utilizado fueel cuestionario de salud EuroQol-5D (EQ-5D) como una alternativa sencilla para la medición de la calidadde vida con el cual se obtuvieron dimensiones de movilidad, cuidado personal, actividades cotidianas,dolor, malestar, ansiedad y depresión.
