The research was developed in fifth-year students from the private school "Los Sauces?, in the city of Ambato. These students presented serious difficulties in reading, interpreting a text, writing and concentrating on the readings, defining itself as a research problem: How to contribute to the development of macro skills to improve learning in the area of language and literature of the students of said school? To solve this problem, the general objective was: Apply playful strategies for the development of learning macro skills in the area of language and literature. Applying a mixed methodology, the proposal was executed in three phases: first, a macro-skills diagnosis was made, based on the performance criteria of the Language and Literature curriculum. Subsequently, taking the results of the students as a reference, a knowledge leveling plan was elaborated, carrying out an advanced plan in a third stage, where with the help of different texts and using didactic games, the different macro skills are developed. At the end of the course, a final evaluation was carried out, where the effectiveness of the strategy used was demonstrated, based on the results obtained
La investigación se desarrolló en estudiantes de quinto año de la escuela particular ?LosSauces?, en la ciudad de Ambato. Estos estudiantes presentaban serias dificultades paraleer, interpretar un texto, escribir y concentrarse en las lecturas, definiéndose como problemade investigación: ¿Cómo contribuir al desarrollo de las macro destrezas para mejorar elaprendizaje en el área de lengua y literatura de los estudiantes dicha escuela? Para resolvereste problema se planteó como objetivo general: Aplicar estrategias lúdicas para el desarrollodel aprendizaje de las macro destrezas en el área de lengua y literatura. Aplicando unametodología mixta, se ejecutó la propuesta en tres fases: primeramente, se realizó undiagnóstico de las macro destrezas, con base en los criterios de desempeño del currículo deLengua y Literatura. Posteriormente, teniendo como referente los resultados de losestudiantes, se elaboró un plan de nivelación de conocimientos, realizando en un tercermomento un plan avanzado, donde con la ayuda de diferentes textos y utilizando juegosdidácticos, se desarrollan las diferentes macro destrezas. Al finalizar el curso se realizó unaevaluación final, donde se demostró la eficacia de la estrategia utilizada, a partir de losresultados obtenidos.
