The pandemic caused by COVID-19 has affected the countries of South America and the world due to the paralysis of part of the economic activity and the confinement of the population. The objective of this study is to create a Dashboard with the Power BI tool to analyze economic variables in South American countries using the International Monetary Fund database and thus answer the questions Are their economic variables that have not been affected? What economic variables have been affected by the COVID-19 pandemic? And Has this pattern been repeated in all South American countries? The design of this research is experimental and correlational between economic variables and the involvement of COVID-19, the hypothesis was answered based on the impact of the pandemic caused by COVID-19 and how the Power BI tool allowed the creation of a control panel to facilitate the analysis of economic variables. Estimates of pandemic and non-pandemic scenarios are created. As results are presented the economic variables by country, rankings of economic variables that have affected the countries of South America and countries with the highest number of affected economic variables. In which it was observed that the most affected economic variables are those related to gross domestic product (GDP), constant prices, loans, debt and volume of exports. Furthermore, the countries with the most affected economic variables are Peru, Chile, Colombia, Paraguay, Ecuador and Guyana
La pandemia causada por COVID-19, ha afectado a los países de Sudamérica y el mundodebido a la paralización de parte de la actividad económica y el confinamiento de la población. Este estudio tiene por objetivo la creación de un Dashboard con la herramienta Power BI para analizar las variables económicas en los países de Sudamérica utilizando la base de datos del Fondo Monetario Internacional y así responder a las preguntas ¿Existen variables económicas que no han sido afectadas?, ¿Cuáles variables económicashan sido afectadas por la pandemia de COVID-19?, y ¿Se ha repetido este patrón en todos los países de Sudamérica? El diseño de esta investigación es experimental y correlacional entre las variables económicas y la implicación del COVID-19, la hipótesis fue respondida en base a la afectación de la pandemia provocada por el COVID-19 y el cómo la herramienta Power BI permitió la creación de un tablero de control para facilitar el análisis de las variables económicas. Se crean estimaciones de los escenarios con pandemia y sin pandemia. Como resultados se presentan las variables económicas por país, rankings de variables económicas que han afectado a los países de Sudamérica y países con el mayor número de variables económicas afectadas. En los cuales se pudo observar que las variables económicas más afectadas se encuentran las relacionadas a producto interno bruto (PIB), precios constantes, préstamos, deuda y volumen de exportaciones. Además, que los países con las variables económicas más afectados son Perú, Chile, Colombia, Paraguay, Ecuador y Guyana.
