The objective of this article is to carry out an approach and establish a relationship between Hannah Arendt and Paul Ricoeur with respect to political thought on power and violence. It is about showing its non-contradiction, its complementarity, even, one could say the enrichment and critical prolongation carried out by Ricoeur. At the same time, the French thinker carries out the presentation of another tradition that notably enriches Arendt's political theory: this tradition is nourished by a diversity of philosophical sources, including Christianity, which, without a doubt, have marked history. from the West.
El objetivo de este artículo es llevar a cabo una aproximación y establecer una relación entre Hannah Arendt y Paul Ricoeur con respecto al pensamiento político sobre el poder y la violencia. Se trata de mostrar su no contradicción, su complementariedad, incluso, se podría decir el enriquecimiento y la prolongación crítica llevada a cabo por Ricoeur. Al mismo tiempo, el pensador francés, lleva a cabo la presentación de otra tradición que enriquece notablemente la teoría política de Arendt: esta tradición se nutre de una diversidad de fuentes filosóficas, incluso del cristianismo, que, sin duda alguna, han marcado la historia de Occidente.
