LA LECTURA DE TEXTOS EN INGLES. ¿QUE ESTRATEGIAS METACOGNITIVAS EMPLEAN NUESTROS ESTUDIANTES?

Abstract

This research aims to identify metacognitive strategies when reading texts in English from third and sixth level students of the Faculty of Engineering of the National University of Chimborazo, located in the city of Riobamba, Ecuador, during the academic semester of September 2019 - February 2020, through the application of the validated instrument Reading Strategies Questionnaire, adapted from the Survey of Reading Strategies (SORS).

Resumen

Esta investigación apunta a identificar las estrategias metacognitivas ante la lectura de textos en inglés de estudiantes de tercero y sexto niveles de la Facultad de Ingeniería de la Universidad Nacional de Chimborazo, situada en la ciudad de Riobamba, Ecuador, durante el semestre académico septiembre 2019 ? febrero 2020, a través de la aplicación del instrumento validado Cuestionario de estrategias de lectura, adaptado del Survey of Reading Strategies (SORS).
