The experiences around territorial development are diverse, depending on the space and context in which they have been developed, adopted different approaches, dynamics or dimensions that have shaped the development of communities. The article approaches the study of the dynamics of territorial development in the rural context, based on the theoretical review of the available literature. It is noted that there are various positions that contribute to the development processes, where the community participates in different ways, being a protagonist in that search for solutions to the local problem, it is also observed that the articulation of the dynamics and coordination of the agents and actors of development are those that define the rhythm of the changes and transformations of the communities. To the extent of the population's involvement in the planning, implementation and monitoring processes of development programs and projects, territorial development is consolidated in a more systematic and appropriate way.
Las experiencias en torno al desarrollo territorial son diversas, según el espacio y contexto en las que se han desarrollado, adoptaron diferentes enfoques, dinámicas o dimensiones que han configurado el desarrollo de las comunidades. El artículo se acerca al estudio de las dinámicas del desarrollo territorial en el contexto rural, a partir de la revisión teórica de la literatura disponible. Se advierte que existen diversas posturas que coadyuvan en los procesos de desarrollo, donde la comunidad participa de distintas formas, siendo protagonista en esa búsqueda de soluciones a la problemática local, también se observa que la articulación de las dinámicas y coordinación de los agentes y actores del desarrollo son las que definen el ritmo de los cambios y transformaciones de las comunidades. En la medida del involucramiento de la población en los procesos de planificación, implementación y seguimiento de los programas y proyectos de desarrollo, el desarrollo territorial se consolida de forma más sistemática e idónea.
