The purpose of this essay is to provide a pragmatic approach to human resources management from a global perspective within the framework of the strategic importance of human talent in tourism as part of the sustainable development agenda. The authors emphasize the study of human talent within the framework of the different schools that converge, their contributions and the variety of models addressed in the corresponding theme. As a methodology, the literature review was adopted with a search for sources that allowed the interpretation of the object of study. In this way it is concluded that the management of human talent is configured from a global perspective and determines in one way or another a significant advance in the sustainable development of tourism in the world.
El presente ensayo tiene como finalidad proporcionar un enfoque pragmático sobre la gestión de recursos humanos desde una perspectiva global en el marco de la importancia estratégica del talento humano en el turismo como parte de la agenda del desarrollo sostenible. Los autores hacen énfasis en el estudio del talento humano en el marco de las distintas escuelas que convergen, sus contribuciones y la variedad de modelos abordados en la temática correspondiente. Como metodología se adoptó la revisión bibliográfica con búsqueda de fuentes que permitieron la interpretación del objeto de estudio. De esta manera se concluye que la gestión del talento humano se configura desde una perspectiva global y determina de una u otra forma un avance significativo en el desarrollo sostenible del turismo en el mundo.
