In its original conception, Philosophy as knowledge science, is present in the epistemological bases that make up the theoretical body, as the fundamental basis of scientific knowledge in any of the forms of knowledge; Hence, the theme presented in this referative work, proposes, in a synthesis, some of the theoretical elements that justify the importance of treating comprehensively the perception of the quality of life in people with osteoarthritis. Therefore, the study of the clinical, epidemiological and social pattern of rheumatic diseases is an object of analysis, reflection, emergency calls, search for solutions and the achievement of attitudes of commitment in all social, political, economic and governmental spheres in the international context and in particular in the countries of Latin America; where dissimilar causes of socio-political, demographic, cultural and economic nature have contributed to the increase in the prevalence of this disease, object of surveillance and concern of professionals and academic communities, actors and social agencies responsible for demonstrating these theoretical assumptions in practice; having as its starting point the philosophical criterion of truth; with the aim of demonstrating the influence exerted by the philosophical and sociological foundations in the comprehensive approach to the perception of the quality of life in individuals with osteoarthritis. Object of surveillance and the professionals' concern and the academic communities, actors and social agencies in charge of demonstrating these theoretical suppositions in the practice, as philosophical approach of the truth, with the objective of demonstrating the influence that you/they exercise the philosophical and sociological foundations in the integral boarding of the perception of the quality of life in individuals with osteoartritis.
En su concepción original, la Filosofía como ciencia del conocimiento, se encuentra presente en las bases epistemológicas que conforman el cuerpo teórico, como base fundamental del conocimiento científico en cualquiera de las formas del conocimiento; de ahí que el tema que se presenta en este trabajo referativo, propone a manera de síntesis, algunos de los elementos de carácter teórico que justifican la importancia de tratar de forma integral la percepción de la calidad de vida en personas con osteoartritis. Por lo que el estudio del patrón clínico, epidemiológico y social de las enfermedades reumáticas, constituye objeto de análisis, reflexión, llamados de urgencia, búsqueda de soluciones y el logro de actitudes de compromiso en todas las esferas sociales, políticas, económicas y gubernamentales en el contexto internacional y en particular en los países de Latinoamérica; donde disimiles causales de índole sociopolíticas, demográficas, culturales y económicas han contribuido al aumento de la prevalencia de esta enfermedad, objeto de vigilancia y preocupación de los profesionales y las comunidades académicas, actores y agencias sociales encargados de demostrar estos supuestos teóricos en la práctica; teniendo como punto de partida el criterio filosófico de la verdad; con el objetivo de demostrar la influencia que ejercen los fundamentos filosóficos y sociológicos en el abordaje integral de la percepción de la calidad de vida en individuos con osteoartritis.
