The present investigation carried out a situational analysis of tourism in the canton Riobamba, located in Ecuador, with the objective of identifying the actors and the role they play in the socio-economic development of the city. The analytical and synthetic methods were used with a descriptive and explanatory type of research, obtaining as a result that the formation of strategic alliances between these authors contributed to the tourist development of the city.
La presente investigación realizó un análisis situacional del turismo en el cantón Riobamba, ubicado en Ecuador, con el objetivo de identificar los actores y el rol que desempeñan estos en el desarrollo socio-económico de la ciudad. Se utilizaron los métodos analítico y sintético con un tipo de investigación descriptiva y explicativa, obteniéndose como resultado que la formación de alianzas estratégicas entre dichos autores contribuyó al desarrollo turístico de la ciudad.
