The objective of the article is to carry out a critical analysis on the conceptualization of the quality of labor life. Among the used methods they highlight the analysis-synthesis to characterize the investigated object, what includes the revision of the variables that you/they conceptualize to this phenomenon whose information was processed with the help of the software SPSS. The results of the study affirm that, not all the authors incorporate the entirety of the necessary variables to consider to define the quality of labor life, and this way to offer a more integral focus of the phenomenon. Explicitly, they were not definitions that consider environmental variables, in spite of the importance that has the human environment for the quality of labor life where the man is developed as species, as worker and as being social.
El objetivo del artículo es realizar un análisis crítico sobre la conceptualización de la calidad de vida laboral. Entre los métodos utilizados destacan el análisis-síntesis para caracterizar el objeto investigado, lo que incluye la revisión de las variables que conceptualizan a este fenómeno, cuya información fue procesada con ayuda del software SPSS. Los resultados del estudio afirman que no todos los autores incorporan la totalidad de las variables necesarias a considerar para definir la calidad de vida laboral, y así ofrecer un enfoque más integral del fenómeno. Explícitamente, no se encontraron definiciones que consideren variables ambientales, a pesar de la importancia que para la calidad de vida laboral tiene el medio ambiente humano donde el hombre se desarrolla como especie, como trabajador y como ser social.
