The present research seeks to be a first approach to a proposal of web design of the institution through the methodological structure exemplified as a structural basis for the design of attractive and quality experiences. The purpose of this work is to show the process in the creation of an educational institutional website that has followed the user-centered design. The methodology used for the elaboration of the work consisted in the application of the user-centered design processes, going through the phases to specify the context of use, identify the people to whom the product is directed, what they will use it for, and what conditions, produce design solutions and evaluations. As a result of the research it is clear that it is very important to create web portals using the user-centered design as an effective methodology. The use of this process saves time and money since it will stop the website from being useful and its functions and information will expire in the short and medium term. Also, this process has allowed the workflow for an educational website to be clearly expressed and taken into account to be replicated. On the other hand, the user tests are highly reliable since they are a tool that shows the recurring points where the user may have conflicts when using the website.
La presente investigación busca ser un primer acercamiento a una propuesta de diseño de páginas web de la institución a través de la estructura metodológica ejemplificada como base estructural para el diseño de experiencias atractivas y de calidad. Es propósito de este trabajo, mostrar el proceso en la creación de un sitio web institucional educativo que ha seguido el diseño centrado en el usuario. La metodología utilizada para la elaboración del trabajo consistió en la aplicación de los procesos de diseño centrado en el usuario, pasando por las fases especificar el contexto de uso, Identificar a las personas a las que se dirige el producto, para qué lo usarán y en qué condiciones, producir soluciones de diseño y evaluaciones. Como resultado de la investigación se desprende es de mucha importancia de la creación de portalesweb utilizando el diseño centrado en el usuario como una metodología eficaz. El uso de este proceso permite ahorrar tiempo y dinero ya que hará que la página web deje de ser útil y sus funciones e información se caduque en corto y mediano plazo. Asimismo, este proceso ha permitido que el flujo de trabajo para una web educativa se pueda poner de manifiesto de manera clara y pueda tomarse en cuenta para ser replicado. Por otra parte, los test de usuario son de alta fiabilidad ya que son una herramienta que muestra los puntos recurrentes donde el usuario puede tener conflictos al usar la página web.
