Psychoeducational action aimed at adolescents in the prevention of risky behaviors must deal with the barriers imposed by the convulsive modern society. Psychopedagogical tools are scaffolding or mediating resources of a psychological and social nature that make possible in the long term the prevention and protection of the health of adolescents and young people in topics that are a concern for health institutions, for which various spaces are used, from the public, such as the school or the universities, and the groups that arrive until the individual attention and follow-up sessions if necessary. This work aims to reflect on the main psycho-pedagogical basis of health education in adolescence.
La acción psicoeducativa dirigida a adolescentes en la prevención de conductas riesgosas debe lidiar con las barreras que impone la convulsa sociedad moderna. Las herramientas psicopedagógicas constituyen andamiajes o recursos mediadores de tipo psicológico y social que posibilitan a largo plazo la prevención y protección a la salud de los adolescentes y jóvenes en temáticas que son una preocupación para las instituciones de salud, para ello se utilizan diversos espacios que van desde los públicos, como la escuela o las universidades, y los grupales que llegan hasta las sesiones individuales de atención y seguimiento si fuera preciso.
