RECURSOS TIC Y NEUROEDUCACION. UN BINOMIO NECESARIO EN LOS ENTORNOS PERSONALES DE APRENDIZAJE (PLE)

Abstract

Achieving that students discern quality information and generate meaningful and lasting learning is a problem widely discussed and studied today. This paper reviews the literature regarding the use of PLEs, and reflects on the internal contradiction between the student's ways of learning, their technological competencies, and the need to have metacognitive strategies related to learning methods. It is evident the need to deepen, from the pedagogical research, the neurological aspects of greater impact, applicable to the design, creation and evaluation processes of the PLEs.

Resumen

Lograr que los estudiantes disciernan información de calidad y generen aprendizajes significativos y duraderos es una problemática ampliamente discutida y estudiada hoy en día. En este trabajo se revisa la literatura respecto al uso de los PLEs (Personal Learning Environments), y se reflexiona en torno a la contradicción interna entre las formas de aprender del estudiante, sus competencias tecnológicas, y la necesidad de contar con estrategias metacognitivas relacionadas con las formas de aprendizaje. Se evidencia la necesidad profundizar, desde la investigación pedagógica, en los aspectos neurológicos de mayor impacto, aplicables a los procesos de diseño, creación y evaluación de los PLEs.
