LECCIONES APRENDIDAS SOBRE EL SALARIO BASICO UNIFICADO Y SU INFLUENCIA EN LA EVOLUCION DEL EMPLEO DE LAS FAMILIAS ECUATORIANAS DE LA REGION SIERRA

Abstract

Work is one of the most important activities, not only for social integration and adequate family dynamics, but also for the psychological adjustment of individuals. Based on Arango?s model (2008), an analysis of the unified basic salary and its influence on the employment evolution of Ecuadorian families in the Sierra region was made. Statistical series of the Central Bank of Ecuador and the National Institute of Statistics and Census were used, among others.

Resumen

El trabajo constituye una de las actividades de mayor importancia, no solo para la integración social y la adecuada dinámica familiar, sino además para el ajuste psicológico de los individuos. Con base en el modelo de Arango (2008), se realiza un análisis del salario básico unificado y de su influencia en la evolución del empleo de las familias ecuatorianas de la región Sierra. Se utilizaron series estadísticas del Banco Central del Ecuador y del Instituto Nacional de Estadística y Censos, entre otros.
