The study analyzes the relation of the lyrical subject and/or creator in the essay and poetic work (without avoiding A summer in Tenerife) by Dulce María Loynaz (Havana, Cuba, 1902-1997, Cervantes Prize 1992) with ecological postures. Without actually knowing the semantic content added to the term ecology after the environmental depauperating stage of the planet in the second half of the twentieth century, Dulce María Loynaz makes her literary work a sign system for the defense of the natural, especially when it is in situations of explicit marginalization.
El estudio analiza la relación del sujeto lírico y/o creador en la obra ensayística y poética (sin soslayar Un verano en Tenerife) de Dulce María Loynaz (La Habana, Cuba, 1902- 1997, Premio Cervantes 1992) con posturas ecológicas; sin conocer, en realidad, el contenido semántico añadido al término ecología tras la depauperación ambiental del planeta en la segunda mitad del XX; Dulce María Loynaz hace de su obra literaria un sistema sígnico para la defensa de lo natural, sobre todo cuando este se encuentra en situaciones de marginación explícita.
