From the information society in which we are living, in the published literature, the terms information literacy and computer literacy are used indistinctly, and there are criteria for this. To clarify these theoretical-conceptual issues, a review of the published literature on information and the information society, information literacy and the relationship between it and computer literacy is made.
A partir de la sociedad de la información en la cual estamos viviendo, en la literatura publicada se manejan indistintamente los términos alfabetización informacional y alfabetización informática, existiendo criterios al respecto. Para esclarecer estas cuestiones teóricas-conceptuales se hace una revisión de la literatura publicada sobre la información y la sociedad de la información, la alfabetización informacional y la relación existente entre ésta y la alfabetización informática.
