Because of the Fifth Transitional Regulations Academic System ( RRA ) issued by the Higher Education Council (CES ), the Graduate Institute of the National University of Chimborazo organized the process complexivo examination for students culminating studies before November 21 2008 and after November 21, 2008 , but they are outside of their regular graduation time . The objective of this research was to analyze the results and make a comparison between the results obtained from those approved in the first and second chance. It was determined that 92 % of those registered have passed the examination which enabled them to conclude their certification process . On the other hand they were obtained on average better results in the second chance exam ( examination of grace ) which was tested with the T statistic for mean difference .
Debido a la Transitoria Quinta del Reglamento de Régimen Académico (RRA) expedido por el Consejo de Educación Superior (CES) el Instituto de Posgrado de la Universidad Nacional de Chimborazo organizó el proceso de examen complexivo para los estudiantes que culminaron estudios antes del 21 de noviembre del 2008 y después del 21 de noviembre del 2008, pero que se encuentren fuera de su tiempo regular de graduación. El objetivo de esta investigación fue analizar los resultados obtenidos y hacer una comparación entre los resultados obtenidos de los que aprobaron en la primera y segunda oportunidad. Se pudo determinar que el 92% de los inscritos han aprobado dicho examen lo que les ha permitido concluir su proceso de titulación. Por otro lado se obtuvieron en promedio mejores resultados en la segunda oportunidad(examen de gracia) lo que se probó con el estadístico T para diferencia de medias.
